Somewhere in the middle of september 2006, a brilliant idea was forming in a young guy`s
head, about to found a fotball club in the tiny willage Gidófalva, in the heart of
Székelyföld, and to join in the Hungarian First Division which was allmost empty at
the early days of DO. So, at 22.09.2006 the brilliant idea was materialised, the club
called FK Székelyföld was borned. The entusiasm reached record levels on that day,
becouse the first team players was selected from the local people, and as you guess
everybody wanted to be on the pitch, no matter if they was farmers who only see a ball
in TV, or even girls was on the list, but at the end at the midnight the first eleven
was selected. The first scheduled training on the seccond day at the local fotball pitch
called "Luxury Rush" on a bright sunny day showed that will not be easy to resist in the
Hungarian First Division. This dark prediction become true at the end of the seccond
season
when our team finished on the 11th place, but the fact that the Hungarian
First Division on that day was without a second division mantained our little team in
the top league. That was our lucky day becouse from that date our team get stronger
every season, and even if we dont won anything for now, we are a very proud team.

For the upcoming seasons our team must evoluate with this ritm and try to get more money for
further investments like Youth Academy, for growing youths for the team and to get
closer to the big teams in our league.
